Zirconium and E-max Coating

Aesthetic smile application with zirconium veneers.

Zirconium and E-max veneers are aesthetic restoration options used to adjust the color, shape, size, and appearance of teeth. At Sone Oral and Dental Health Clinic, treatment planning is tailored to each individual, taking into account the current condition of the teeth, bite relationships, gum health, and the patient's aesthetic expectations. The goal is not only to achieve a more aesthetically pleasing result but also a functional outcome that is harmonious with natural teeth.

What are zirconium coatings?

Zirconium crowns are dental restorations that offer both aesthetic appeal and durability without a metal substructure. They can be used to correct color, shape, and size problems in teeth; and to restore teeth that are worn, broken, or have significant substance loss . At Sone Oral and Dental Health Clinic, zirconium treatments are planned individually for each patient, taking into account their existing tooth structure, gum health, bite relationships, and aesthetic expectations.

What are E-max Coatings and E-max Laminates?

E-max is a high-transparency all-ceramic restoration option that is particularly preferred in areas where aesthetics are a priority. It can be used to correct discoloration and deformities in front teeth, restore fractured or worn teeth, and improve smile aesthetics.

Depending on the case, E-max veneers or E-max laminates (porcelain veneers) are considered, aiming for a restoration that is as close as possible to the natural tooth tissue and appearance.

Which should be preferred: Zirconium Emax?

Natural smile design with E-max and zirconium coating.

There is no single "better" material than zirconium or E-max that applies to every patient. The material to be used is determined according to the area where the restoration will be performed, the existing tooth tissue, the occlusion forces, and the patient's aesthetic expectations.

While zirconium may be preferred in some cases where durability is a priority, E-max can be a significant alternative, especially in anterior regions where high aesthetic expectations are placed. After examination, the appropriate material is evaluated individually for each tooth and region.

What factors affect the price of zirconium teeth?

The treatment plan for zirconium and E-max restorations is not the same for every patient. The number of teeth to be treated, the type of restoration to be used, the condition of existing teeth, any necessary additional treatments, and laboratory procedures can all affect the treatment plan.

Therefore, the prices for zirconium crowns, E-max crowns, and porcelain veneers are determined after examination and treatment planning. You can contact our clinic to learn which material is suitable for you and the treatment options available.

Zirconium and E-max Materials We Use

At Sone Oral and Dental Health Clinic, we utilize products from globally recognized dental material manufacturers such as Ivoclar and VITA in aesthetic and prosthetic treatments, tailored to the specific needs of each case. For E-max restorations, Ivoclar IPS e.max is preferred, while for zirconium restorations, VITA materials are chosen in suitable cases.

The material to be used is determined by evaluating the area where the restoration will be applied, the existing structure of the tooth, the need for color and light transmission, occlusion forces, and the patient's aesthetic expectations. Our goal is not only to create white teeth, but also to obtain restorations that are as close as possible to natural tooth tissue in terms of color, form, and optical properties.
